Children of all sizes are making big discoveries every day at The Discovery MuseumsThe Discovery Museums are the children’s and science museums of Metrowest Boston. Two great museums and the new Discovery Woods nature playscape and treehouse blend the best of science, children’s and environmental learning on a beautiful 4.5-acre campus in Acton, MA.



Gift memberships are available to give families a full year of unlimited visits for discovery and fun. Family and Premier memberships have the added benefit of discounted or even free admission to hundreds of other museums in New England and across the country. Full membership details can be found on the museums’ website at http://www.discoverymuseums.org/become-member. Memberships may be purchased online, by phone or in person at the museums. One-time passes may be purchased by phone or in person for $12.50 each.

 
Be sure to check out the Discovery Store when you visit. In fact, you can stop by the store without visiting the museums anytime during public hours since it is conveniently located in the lobby. You’ll find toys for infants and toddlers inside the Children’s Discovery Museum and gifts for bigger kids in the Science Discovery Museum. They carry science and building kits for budding chemists and engineers, creative projects and an assortment of unique stocking stuffers.  


 
Easily accessible from Routes 2, 95/128 and 495, The Discovery Museums combine manageable scale, convenient location and free parking to provide a fun and engaging experience where children and adults can discover their world together.
