Summer Camp Theatre Sessions at Theatre with a Twist, Inc.
Theatre with a Twist, Inc. offers 3 exciting two-week, full-day summer camp sessions designed to immerse students in the magic of theatre. Campers participate in all aspects of production, including acting, singing, dancing, creating sets and props, and enjoying a variety of fun costumes—bringing together a theatrical mash-up of our most popular shows.
Students build skills in drama, dance, music, improvisation, and visual art while enjoying a unique blend of focused theatre instruction and traditional summer camp activities. Each day includes outdoor play, games, and creative craft time, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience.
Our sessions are led by a dedicated team of professionals and paraprofessionals with expertise in theatre, music, dance, education, special education, and communication. At the end of each two-week session, students showcase their hard work in a performance for families to enjoy. No prior theatre experience is required in order to participate in this camp. Many families choose to enroll in multiple sessions, and we welcome multi-session registrations.
Summer Intensive Theatre Program at Theatre with a Twist, Inc.
Theatre with a Twist, Inc. offers 3 exciting two-week, half-day summer intensive sessions designed to help participants refine their theatre skills and deepen their stage presence. Daily classes in acting and musical theatre are combined with active rehearsal ending in a full production. Performers will practice using their “outside voice” indoors, create backstories for their roles, and explore the creative process beyond performance. They will also gain hands-on experience in setting the stage, including props, costumes, and set painting.
This is a fast-paced, intensive program that expects students to be focused, flexible, adaptable, and responsible. Participants must be prepared to commit daily time outside the intensive to memorize lines, leading to a full production performance on the final day. Multi-session registrations are welcome.
