Summer is time to play at Indian Hill Music School in Littleton, with full-day and half-day summer programs and year-round private lessons and classes -- for every age, level, and musical genre, from classical to jazz, pop and rock.
Drop in to the school at 36 King Street, Littleton on Saturday, June 4 to learn more about summer programs, and preview the school’s newest offerings.
From 9:30 – 10:15 AM, children ages 5 – 9 can sing, dance, build rhythm and movement and have fun with Summer Music Explorers instructor Mark Femino.
From 10:45 – 11:45 AM, budding actor-singers aged 8 – 18 can drop in to sample SingIt! and StageIt!, two new multi-week programs that build musical theater and contemporary vocal skills.

All Ages
Ages five to adult can register for a relaxed and flexible schedule of private lessons this summer! Take as few as three lessons and book them around your vacation and other activities. Explore one of 30+ instruments, and be matched to one of our caring faculty of 70+ conservatory-trained teaching artists.
Younger Children
Curious about an instrument for your child aged 5 – 10, but not quite ready for private lessons? Try one of our four-week, affordable beginner classes in piano, guitar, drums, and violin.
Summer Music Explorers Ages 5 – 9 can have fun learning the basics of musicianship, with rhythm, movement, stories, instrument lessons, and an ensemble, July 11 – 15.
Youth & Teen
StageIt!, June 27 – July 9 for ages 8 – 18, is a do-it-yourself musical revue where everyone has a chance to shine in a song or scene. Sing, dance, act, and learn the art of stagecraft.
RockIt!, a rock band for ages 10 – 16, July 11 – 15, gives intermediate students of guitar, bass, drums, piano and voice the tools to build a strong band, and plenty of time to jam!
SingIt!, a pop vocal program for ages 12-18 will bring their singing to a whole new level with a two-weeks of vocal coaching, group singing, and fun electives like beatboxing, a cappella band, show choir, recording and more, August 8 -19.
SummerDayMusic, our flagship summer program for ages 8 – 17 from July 18 – 29, combines traditional music study with innovative classes and ensembles that develop technique and musicianship. Students take core classes in their instrument and add a variety of fun electives (ukelele, African drumming, show choir, jazz combo, yoga, composition, and more).
Advanced
Chamber Music Intensive is our new, challenging one-week immersion program for serious teen and college chamber players, August 1-6.
Adult
SummerNightMusic gives advanced adult players and vocalists an outlet to play in a relaxed, weekly chamber music ensemble. 7-week program, Wednesday evenings from July 6 – August 17.
