Camp Nashoba Day, located on Fort Pond in Littleton, Massachusetts was established in 1957 by Robert and Jean Seaward of Chelmsford, Massachusetts.   “Mr. Bob” attended day and overnight camp since age 6, was a counselor and Waterfront Director at Camp Idlewild located on the 200 acre Cow Island near Wolfeboro, NH., on Lake Winnipesaukee for many years and was a teacher, coach and guidance counselor in Concord, Massachusetts.   “Miss Jean”, also a teacher in Concord, was involved with overnight camps in Vermont prior to establishing Camp Nashoba with her husband Mr. Bob.  The founders’ experiences with New England’s finest overnight camps truly impacted the creation and feel of Camp Nashoba from its inception.   The camp remains unchanged in its focus to provide excellent instruction to children in a wide variety of activities under the supervision of a talented and dedicated staff.

Camp Nashoba Day offers programs to boys and girls ages 4 through 15 years of age who hail from the surrounding towns and from as far away as Washington D.C., California, Burma, Venezuela, Spain and a host of other countries.   Many of the International campers live with grandparents in the area, while other families reside at nearby hotels or Inns while their children attend camp.

Fort Pond offers activities not typically found at a day camp;  fishing on the pontoon boat, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, rowing, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing and wakeboarding.  Camp Nashoba operates for 8 weeks each summer and offers programs in nature, arts, land sports, horseback riding, climbing adventure challenge, archery and tennis.
Arts at Camp Nashoba include pottery, candle making, basketry, wood working, arts and nature crafts, music and dance.   Instruction in archery, at the climbing wall and multiple low elements, on the basketball courts and tennis courts, at horseback riding and vegetable gardening are all fun and exciting activities.
