Patriots Day Weekend Guide 2017

Here's our guide to all of the local upcoming Patriots Day events, which start April 8. Bring the kids out and feel the history! The battle re-enactments and historical demonstrations are especially good for children in grades 3-5 who are learning about the Revolutionary War.

Saturday, April 8

7 PM: Alarm and Muster of the Lincoln Minute Men (Lincoln)

Monday, April 17

5:30 AM: Re-enactment of the Battle of Lexington on the Battle Green (Lexington)

6-10 AM: Boy Scout Troop 160 Pancake Breakfast (Lexington)

6-10 AM: Patriot's Day Pancake Breakfast (Lexington)

8 AM-12 PM: "First Shot! The Day the Revolution Began" Film and Re-enactors Q&A (Lexington)

8:45 AM: Concord Parade and Commemoration of the North Bridge Fight (Concord)

11:15 AM: Handbell Concert of American Music (Lexington)

2 PM: Patriots' Day Celebration Parade (Lexington)

Historical homes, museums and visitors centers in Lexington and Concord are open all day for tours.


Tuesday, April 18

9-11 AM: Revolutionary Scavenger Hunt (Lexington)
