Beginner Lessons, Classes, and New Programs

Sample a variety of new and ongoing early childhood, beginner, youth, and teen programs. Toddlers and parents will enjoy newly expanded Early Childhood offerings, including the popular Music for Aardvarks classes for ages 1-4. Songs in Motion Jr (Ages 3-5) and Drum Buddies (Ages 4-6) classes are a fun and lively way for preschoolers and kindergarteners to learn music, movement, and rhythm basics. Ages 5-9 can try friendly Group Beginner Lessons in piano, violin, guitar, ukulele, drums, flute or clarinet. Ages 4-6 and parent can experience a Suzuki Method Violin or Guitar class – a unique and highly effective parent-child approach to learning an instrument.  Have a budding singer in the house? Ages 5-13 can sing with a group in one of our new Youth Choruses: Lyrica Chorus (ages 5-8) or Harmonia Chorus (ages 8-13).

Instrument Fair

Interested in private lessons, and want to find your child’s instrument match? Explore a variety of instruments with our select retail partners: Bridges & Bows, Johnson String Instrument, Leonards Music, Nuvo Instrumental, and M. Steinert & Sons.

“We are excited to be able to offer so many opportunities for kids and teens in our community to learn and play all kinds of music,” said Pete Robbins, Indian Hill’s Director of Education. “Music study can truly shape a child’s life, and we are fortunate to be able to introduce children as young as a year old to the wonders of participating in musical experiences and to foster in them a lifelong love of music.”
