Ski resorts have special deals just for your fourth and fifth graders! Age 10-12 is a great age for kids to learn a new sport or develop their skills if they already know how to ski or snowboard. Check out the following incentives!
Ski NH Offers 4th and 5th Grade Snowsports Passports
For just $30, get a passport with one free lift ticket or trail pass at each of Ski NH's member alpine and cross country ski areas. Vouchers expire on the last day that each ski area is open during the 2019-20 season. Any 4th or 5th grader can participate; you don't have to live in NH.
Order your passport at https://www.skinh.com/passport and send in verification that your child is in 4th or 5th grade. As soon as verification is received and processed, you'll receive the passport via email. See https://www.skinh.com/passport for all the details.
Ski Vermont Offers Ski Passports for 5th Graders
For $20, get a passport containing coupons for lift tickets at participating alpine resorts and cross country centers. The booklet contains 3 coupons for each participating alpine resort and 1-3 coupons for each participating cross country center. Passport requests take 2 weeks to process; keep this in mind if you're scheduling a VT ski weekend! Some resorts have blackout dates. Ski & Ride for Free in PA
If you're planning (or willing) to head to PA to ski or snowboard and have a 4th or 5th grader, check out the SkiPA Snowpass program. For a $40 processing fee, get a Snowpass containing 1 free Learn to Ski/Board package (beginner lift ticket, lesson and equipment rental) with a paying adult at the participating resort of your choice, plus 3 lift tickets to each participating ski area. It also includes a coupon for 50% off an adult Learn to Ski/Snowboard package too! You do not have to be a PA resident to participate but you do have to provide evidence of 4th/5th grade enrollment and a photo of your child.
