Celebrate Earth Day with Water-Focused Activities from The Umbrella

April 16, 2020

The Umbrella Arts Center in Concord has launched Earth Day 3050, a special virtual program to help commemorate both the 30th anniversary of Musketaquid Earth Day celebrations and the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.  While Musketaquid's annual Earth Day celebration will not be taking place this year, they have developed special water-focused activities that families can do at home or outside to celebrate, learn and create with water.

Activities include crafts, researching your local watershed, creating and recording in journal, learning about local water habitats and much more.  Thirty different activities will be posted at over 50 days, so be sure to check back every week to learn about and start the new activities that have been posted.

Activities already posted include:

Creative and curious kids will enjoy trying the new activities as they get posted!
