Summer dance programs at Heavey Quinn Academy of Irish Dance will look a little different this summer, but there is something for everyone! There are two options for the Summer Steps program for age 4-12.
In studio: They will be offering a week of Summer Steps, July 13- 17th at the studio located at 11 Progress Ave., Chelmsford. They will be limited to the number of dancers in order to follow the guidelines for Covid-19. Programs run 9 AM to 3 PM or 9 AM to 12 PM. Dancers can attend for a minimum 3 days or the full 5 days. Prices range from $125 - $375 depending on option.
Online introductory: On July 20-24, new dancers can take an online introductory course from 10 AM to 12 PM. Choose from 5 days ($135) or 3 days ($100).
Both programs will include learning new dances, games, and arts and crafts! Learn new soft shoe steps, including reels, slip jigs and more, and new hard shoe steps. Improve your Irish step execution with ballet technique, and learn how to present yourself on stage with confidence!
