Penguin Coding School has been teaching kids how to code since 2016. Our Winter Semester starts on February 5th, and we are offering free coding & robotics lessons with our award winning teachers from Monday January 29th to Sunday February 4th.
Classes are 60 to 90 minutes long and laptops will be provided. Our experienced school teachers ease new students into the learning process so they can discover the joys of coding without being intimidated.

Ages 6-9: Scratch and Minecraft
Our Scratch classes teach an Introduction to coding with MIT-developed drag and drop program. Students get excited to build their own projects and games within the software. Minecraft is also one of our most popular classes and students get to play their favorite game with friends and learn how to use block-based programming to make customizations and build cool projects.
Penguin Coding's Robotics combines building with Legos with coding that is accessible to our youngest age groups but challenging even for our most advanced students. We also offer more advanced Robotics Team Prep classes for those with more experience and who are hoping to join FLL in the fall.
Python is perfect for beginners in middle school and high school who want a rigorous and powerful introduction into programming. As for Roblox, students use Lua scripting language and Roblox Studio to learn how to apply their coding knowledge and create unique customizations in the Roblox universe.
Ages 13-18: Java & Python for High School
Students learn high school level computer science with Java or Python. Great prep for AP Computer Science.
