Diment “Tot Lot” Park is an adorable little hidden gem geared toward younger kids. Located in Carlisle, on the same street as Carlisle Castle Playground, Diment Park has a play structure, a swing set, and a sandbox. The park is secluded and quiet, and there is plenty of shade.
There is seating in the gazebo, and there is a picnic table as well. The sandbox is stocked with a bunch of trucks, which my son loved!
It doesn’t appear that the park is often used. We were the only ones there when we went. The see-saw was broken and toppled over, but everything else was in good working condition. The sandbox could also use a cleaning or new sand as it was covered in leaves and sticks, but other than that the park was very clean.
Next to the park is a large soccer field, and on the other side of it is a bridge leading to a trail in the woods. We took a walk over and found such a beautiful little piece of nature to enjoy. The bridge is surrounded by plants and flowers on both sides, and there were so many butterflies and birds in view. This was probably our favorite part as it was such a beautiful and peaceful nature walk to end our trip to Diment Park.
