Looking for a summer program where creativity can really shine? Kidcreate Studio is bringing several exciting full-day summer art camps to Bedford and Lexington Recreation this year, giving young artists ages 5–12 the chance to explore new materials, creative themes, and imaginative projects.
Each week combines two unique art programs, so kids can experiment with different mediums and styles while building confidence in their creativity.

Bedford Recreation: July 13-17, 8:45 am to 3:30 pm
This fun-filled week combines Smart Art and Pet Shop.
In Smart Art, kids explore S.T.E.A.M. concepts through creative hands-on projects. Young artists will build and design imaginative creations like lava lamps, wind-up dog toys, and other exciting inventions that blend art and science.
Later in the day, the Pet Shop program lets kids channel their love of animals into art. Campers will draw and paint adorable dogs, cats, hamsters, and other critters, while experimenting with materials like clay, paint, and mixed media.

Bedford Recreation: July 27-31, 8:45 am to 3:30 pm
Another creative week combines STEAM-sational Art and Nailed It! Glitter & Bling.
In STEAM-sational Art, creativity meets experimentation as kids design projects like their own pinball machine and even create a Venus flytrap art project, discovering how art can connect with science and engineering.
Then it’s time for sparkle! Nailed It! Glitter & Bling is inspired by the popular TV show and encourages young artists to create dazzling masterpieces. Campers will sculpt glittery clay mini-cakes, craft shimmering blossoms, and explore projects filled with sparkle and imagination.

Lexington Recreation: June 29-July 3, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm
This week features two exciting themes for kids who love animation and gaming.
In the KPOP/Anime program, campers will explore anime drawing techniques like Totoro and Gudetame (Lazy Egg Yolk) while creating portraits of characters like Rumi from KPop Demon Hunters.
In the afternoon, Game On! celebrates the world of video games. With screens off but creativity fully engaged, kids will create art inspired by favorites like Mario Kart, Minecraft, Sonic the Hedgehog, and other gaming classics.
Kidcreate Studio’s programs are designed to help kids build confidence, explore creativity, and experiment with a wide variety of art materials in a supportive and fun environment.
