Baseball is back in Lowell! The Lowell Spinners are returning to LeLacheur Park with a fresh new chapter, bringing family-friendly fun, exciting promotions, and a renewed love of the game to the Merrimack Valley.
Originally founded in 1996 as a Minor League Baseball affiliate, the Spinners were a beloved part of Lowell summers for years. Now, the new Spinners team is part of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England, featuring talented college players from across the country. It’s high-quality, fast-paced baseball with a relaxed, affordable, and community-focused vibe -- perfect for families. Spinners Chief Operating Officer Tim Bawmann says, "You don't have to be a baseball fan to have a great time at a Lowell Spinners game. We offer something for everyone!"
A trip to the ballpark is so much more than just the game. The Kids Zone is packed with activities to keep younger fans entertained, from inflatables to interactive games. The Kids Zone opens an hour before each game, and most activities are free with your game ticket (small charge for some carnival games).
Throughout the season, fans can enjoy themed nights, giveaways, fireworks, and special promotions that make every visit feel like an event. Opening night is May 29, with fireworks. The May 31st game features a Mascot Bobblehead giveaway to the first 500 attendees. Special theme nights include Star Wars Night on June 7, Spongebob Squarepants Night on June 28, and Spiderman Night on July 12. The popular Summer Sleepover event is back on August 1st -- fans can watch the game, set up their tents on the outfield and watch a post-game movie, sleep overnight, and then enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning.
For kids who want to get in on the action, the Future Spinners Summer Baseball Camp offers a chance to learn skills, build confidence, and have a blast on the field. Camp runs July 14-16 from 9 am to 1 pm for ages 6-12.
One of the best deals of the summer is the Future Spinners Nation Kids Club—just $25 for a full season of perks for kids age 2 to 8! Members receive a ticket to every Sunday home game, an exclusive t-shirt, a special hat, and access to members-only experiences. It’s an incredible value and a fun way for kids to feel like part of the team. Make Sundays a family baseball day!
With affordable tickets (just $13-14!), nonstop fun, and a welcoming atmosphere, there’s never been a better time to head to LeLacheur Park!
