Summer's Edge at Camp Thoreau in Concord, where building character and community is just as important as learning how to swim or build a campfire. Campers from 4 to 14 years old unplug to explore 35 acres of woods and discover the meaning of character and friendship. The Summer's Edge at Camp Thoreau Experience is rooted in a caring community where kids can be kids.
The morning curriculum includes daily American Red Cross Swim lessons, sports, archery, arts & crafts, nature, outdoor living skills, tennis, theatre, an adventure course with a climbing wall, and a character counts education program. The afternoon curriculum includes a free swim period and free choice offerings. All the activities and equipment are specific to the different age groups.
