Recently reopened, we here at Learning Express Play pride ourselves on being a staple in our community since our opening in 2016. Our Downtown Play has something for every child, making it a great place for children from six-months-old to elementary school kiddos! Our space has numerous pretend playrooms, including our General Store, Yummies Diner, and Veterinary Clinic. With our many costume departments, everyone can get into character as they experience Downtown Play!
Our Cozy Corner is great for children just beginning to crawl and is fully stocked with age-appropriate toys. Our custom-made train table is sure to draw the attention of the budding conductors in your life! Our athletics gym, equipped with obstacle course building materials, gymnastics bars, trampoline, and age-appropriate rock-climbing wall is the perfect place for the active child to run and jump! Our Studio Room is the perfect place for arts and crafts along with other activities, and we encourage everyone to bring their masterpieces home!
We offer two packages for birthday parties: Standard and Deluxe.
By booking our Standard packages you reserve our entire Downtown Play Space for an entire two hour window (90 minutes in Downtown Play, 30 minutes in our Birthday Studio), during these time blocks we are not open to the public. Your birthday child(ren) along with fifteen party goers get the entire space to themselves to play and celebrate Additional children may be added to the party for an additional charge. We turn our Studio Room into a Birthday Studio and take care of setting everything up for you, including all the paper goods needed for the party. We also provide a drink for each of your party goers. You are more than welcome to bring in any additional decorations. The studio is the perfect place to bring in any pizza, cake/cupcakes or any other treats that you bring in for your party. We provide all the service for studio set up and clean up, so it’s no stress on your end! Standard Birthday packages begin at $649
By booking a Deluxe package you reserve our entire Downtown Play Space for an entire two-hour window (90 minutes in Downtown Play, 30 minutes in our Birthday Studio). During these time blocks, we are not open to the public. Your birthday child(ren) along with fifteen party goers get the entire space to themselves to play and celebrate. Additional children may be added to the party for an additional charge. Deluxe parties are also themed to match the interest of the birthday child. Some themes we offer include: Bluey, Paw Patrol, Star Wars, Super Heroes, Dinosaurs, Princesses, and Frozen. We’ll definitely do our best to accommodate any other themes not listed here. Deluxe parties also include a special character visit matching the theme of the party, such as Darth Vader, Skye from Paw Patrol, Bob the Minion, numerous Disney Princesses and many more! The Birthday Studio will also be decorated in relation to the theme of the party, including all the matching paper goods. We’ll even take care of all the balloons for the party! The studio is the perfect place to bring in any pizza, cake/cupcakes or any other treats that you bring in for your party. We will also provide a snack and a drink for all your party goers. The deluxe birthday package also includes a goodie bag for every party goer, including $10 of FunBucks, which may be redeemed at Learning Express Toys of Bedford! Additional services such as face painting may be added on as well. The Deluxe Birthday Package begins at $849
Not a birthday? Downtown Play is also available for private events. You may rent our space to host up to 120 people and enjoy a private play session! Rental packages begin at $500 for one hour, each subsequent hour is an additional $250
