Acton School of Ballet provides the highest level of classical ballet training to our surrounding community in a fun, educational, and collaborative setting through stellar faculty and a focused approach to training. We strive to foster creativity, inspire confidence, and encourage our students to be persistent inside and outside of the studio. We are the only school in the area that provides ballet classes for beginners of all ages through Pre-Professional.
Ballet benefits children and adults through building coordination, musicality, rhythm, and artistry. Our Lower School Program is designed for students ages 3 through 3rd grade and no experience is required. Classes meet once a week and progress through a yearly syllabus program where focus is placed on proper alignment, creative movement, and learning terminology. The Upper School Program is for students ages 4th grade and up and a placement class is required for this program. Students in the Upper School meet several times per week and build upon a solid foundation of classical technique. Students in Kindergarten and up perform in our annual end of the year performance of a classical ballet. Our Teen/Adult Program is open to beginners of all ages so it is never too late to start learning ballet!
