Description
Rain or Shine! Free Admission! RUN THE RUNWAY (8:00 am to 9:00 am), FREE Airplane Rides (kids 8—17 / 9am to 12pm), courtesy of EAA 196. Airport Tours, Paper Airplane Contest, Aviation DVDs running continuously, National Aviation Academy tours (on-field aircraft maintenance school), See Personal Aircraft, Ultralight Aircraft, Homebuilt Aircraft, Civil Air Patrol, R/C Aircraft. Foods include Grilled Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, Beverages, Nancy’s Airfield Café, Ken & Gina’s Organic Ice Cream.
An organized Run-the-Runway event will begin at 8am. Families and non-serious runners will be able to walk/run the runway as well, prior to the free airplane flights at 9am.
