Description
The Apollo Ensemble of Boston orchestra (apolloensembleofboston.com/) will give two free outdoor concerts this summer at the Great Brook Farm State Park pavilion. Each concert should last a little more than one hour. Bring chairs or blankets to sit on.
The first is Saturday, July 23, at 1 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, July 24 at 1 p.m.). Led by conductor Elias Miller, the orchestra will perform Coleridge-Taylor’s Idyll (Op. 44) and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 in E minor.
