Description
From the Discovery Museum
February is Black History Month! Join us as we learn about Black Americans who have made important contributions to the fields of science, math, and art. In today’s program, build creations that float and fly in a tunnel of swirling air while learning about the important work of Black scientists like Joan Robinson-Berry, an aerospace engineer who was the first female engineering graduate from California State Polytechnic University.
After your visit, check out our Discovery at Home page to try out some other engineering ideas that harness the power of air!
