Description
From the library:
Please join us for a Solar Eclipse* Viewing Party on the lawn outside the library. The partial Solar Eclipse begins at 2:16 pm. The maximum view of the eclipse occurs at 3:39 pm and ends at 4:39 pm.
The maximum partial eclipse over Bedford will be ~92% by both magnitude (diameter) and obscuration (area).
*A solar eclipse happens when the Earth passes through the moon’s shadow. Effectively, the moon is passing between the sun and the earth, blocking the sun’s light from reaching the earth.
