Description
Concord’s annual Patriots Day Parade, marking the 249th anniversary of the Concord Fight and the beginning of the American Revolution, will be held on Monday, April 15th beginning at 9 am. The parade will feature participants representing military, musical and patriotic groups from across New England. The parade begins on Main Street and proceeds through Concord Center to the Old North Bridge where a brief ceremony commemorates the events and soldiers of April 19, 1775. The parade returns through Concord Center by way of Monument Street and Main Street at approximately 10:15 am where each unit is officially acknowledged at reviewing stand on Main Street and Keyes Road.
NOTE: all of the roads in the center of town are closed to vehicles beginning at 8:30 a.m.
