Description

From the website:

On this 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War’s start at Concord’s North Bridge, Orchard House – the “Home of Little Women” as well as a “Witness House” to the British Line of March of 19 April 1775 – is proud and pleased to join with the Town of Concord in celebrating our shared heritage during an afternoon filled with costumed interpreters, games, music, conversation, “Revolutionary selfies,” a meet-and-greet with Sagamore Strong Bear Medicine -- direct descendant of Nashobah Praying Indians sheltered on our property in 1675 -- and even a visit by Louisa May Alcott herself, reminiscing about the 1875 Revolutionary War Centennial festivities! All outdoor activities are free; donations are greatly appreciated to support Orchard House’s educational and historic preservation efforts.

Note, Orchard House will not be open for guided tours on April 19th.
