From the town of Carlisle:
This Earth Day event will be chock full of environmental information, activities, games, crafts, tasty treats and fun for all ages!
1:30-2:30 pm: Meet Nibi, the nationally famous rescue/education beaver “pardoned” by the Governor, and Jane Newhouse from Newhouse Wildlife Rescue. Other live wildlife will be present as well.
Stop by the Environmental Sustainability Committee’s table to get your free bluebird house (while supplies last).
See electric vehicle displays, low-carbon cooking demonstrations, have your bicycle and helmet inspected, and chat with over 50 community organizations and businesses.
Event takes place rain or shine. If the weather is rainy, the event will be held in the Carlisle Middle School gym.
